The Paladin Prophecy (The Paladin Prophecy, #1)

Teenager Will West has always stayed low profile, not running as fast as he could in track and getting mediocre grades, all because his parents told him to.  He doesn’t know why they told him to, but they did.  But one day he slipped up o n a nationwide test and got a flying score.  The day he found out he got that score was the same day the men in the black sedans came after him.  And after they got his parents he was forced to flee to the Center for Integrated Learning that had offered him a free scholarship.  Will is in the middle of a battle that’s been going on for years.

I loved this book and waiting very impatiently for the next one to come out.  It was fantastic.  The cover was very gripping and the first few chapters were slow, but put you in the middle of all the action.  By the fifth chapter I was engulfed in the book.  Although the tittle was a good one, it really never comes into context.  There was a Paladin, but no prophecy.

The book had some swear words and some confusing stuff because all the people at the institute were very high up in knowledge and they were rich.  At the beginning I thought it was going to be a realistic fiction, but then it changed to fantasy toward the middle and I enjoyed that.

I would recommend this book to guys and girls in middle school and up.  I give it four stars.
